About Sloyd
Sloyd started with a small team of game developers trying to solve a big problem: how do you build a large open-world game without a large studio?
We began developing AI and procedural tools to create 3D content faster. Those internal tools eventually became Sloyd.
Since then, Sloyd has grown into an AI creation platform used by creators across game development, 3D printing, animation and video production, architecture visualization, and other creative fields.
Our technology has expanded too. What started with 3D model generation now includes text-to-3D, image-to-3D, full 3D scenes, image creation and editing, animation, video, skyboxes, and more.
The goal, however, hasn't changed: make powerful creative technology simple enough that creators can spend less time figuring out tools and more time creating.
Sloyd was founded in Norway and operates across the US and Europe.
Three principles decide what we build, which models we run, and how we price it.
AI is moving at a tremendous pace. New models and research come out every day, and keeping up with all of it can quickly become a job of its own.
So we keep up with innovation so you don't have to.
We constantly train and improve our own models, test new research, and evaluate external providers. Then we find the right combination of models and technology for each job.
We don't give you a long list of providers and model names and ask you to figure out which one is best. Tell us what you want to create, and we'll take care of the rest.
